December is here and our class is going to end. I would not have thought that this moment would be so sad for me. I have had great time in my classroom and I've know a lot of good, funny, kind and cool people. I think that they will be good friends for a long time...I hope! Now it s time to great choice: what should I do? Do I have to come back in Italy or not? Should I stay in Nyc? Should I try to built a new life here? I d like so much. I have a student visa so in order to stay in this country I have to enroll in a school. Which school? Ali at nyu or another course? I wanted to do a master degree but it s too expensive but maybe I might attend one non credit course at nyu school of continuing and professional study. It might be an idea to improve my skill and to increase my English. I don t know, but i d like to live in this city and I ll try to figure out the best option.

  1. Hi Martina,

The road will be showed when you walk on it. Maybe the god will direct your road. In my opinion, stay at ALI maybe a good idea. The experience is really excellent than I expected, so maybe this is true the best way to study English. BTW, I am really feel happy to meet you, and you are the first Italian I met. Although we do not have so much talks, we still are friends?haha! Hope to see you next semester.

  3. Hi Martina,

It sounds like you have a lot of possibilities and a lot of decisions to make. I'm glad to hear that you enjoy living in New York. I think it suits you; you seem like a natural New Yorker!

Do you want to do a master's degree in law? I agree that it is very expensive, but I'm sure it would be a good experience.

I've really enjoyed having you in class this semester, and I'm sure you have an exciting future ahead of you!
